After half a year, we decided to make another ranking for all of the wizards in the Fairy Tail Universe. Everything will be based on both the anime and the manga, and every wizard is critiqued according to his/her offense, defense, speed, intelligence, stamina, and durability.
Remember...
1. Everyting is based on the wizards' abilities shown in the Tartarus Arc
2. Dragons are NOT included in this list
3. Warrod Sequen and other Wizard Saints are also not in this list
4. Only Canon characters are in this list (no Anime-only characters like Byro, Sugarboy etc.)
5. Wizards are critiqued in their best forms (Dragon Force, Devil Slayer, Etherious Form)

Before we continue on with out list of top 50, we would like to introduce a new system of rating the mages' specialties. The following is the list of qualities mages can possess: 

Muscleman - The mage has shown an amount of overwhelming strength

Combatant - The mage has shown skills with hand to hand combat

Swordsman - The mage has shown swordsmanship skills

Marksman - The mage has shown skills with weapons like guns and arrows

Acrobat - The mage has shown flexibility and reflexes like a gymnast

Powerhouse - The mage possesses great magical power offensively and defensively

Speedster - The mage possesses great mobility and acceleration when running/flying

Mastermind - The mage possesses keen intellect and high IQ

Engine - The mage possesses great stamina

Hard man - The mage possesses great durability

Eagle - The mage has the ability of flight

Shark - The mage has the ability of staying underwater without any effort

Iceman - The mage is easily adapted to the cold and does not suffer from freezing temperatures

Dragon slayer - The mage is able to perform dragon slaying magic and may be able to kill dragons

God slayer - The mage is able to perform god slaying magic
Devil slayer - The mage is able to perform devil slaying magic

Demon - The mage is demonified and has demonic powers

Celestial mage - The mage is able to summon celestial spirits

Prospect - The mage is a prodigy and shows great talents considering his/her young age

Immortality - The mage cannot die or will not die if not attacked

And then, the qualities are also divided into 3 sections. 

Gold - Inhumane - nearly godly

Silver - Human peak - nearly inhumane

Bronze - Excellent 

For example, one of Lucy's qualities is Mastermind. But she does not possess godly intelligence nor is she a genius, she just has great intellect, therefore she belongs to the bronze section when it comes to Mastermind.
Another example is Natsu being a Dragon Slayer. He belongs to the gold section because he is a 1st generation dragon slayer, meaning that a dragon taught him his magical skills, unlike Laxus, who is a 2nd generation dragon slayer, therefore belonging to the silver section.
